The Connect for Freedom High School Grade 9 Lessons are individualized lessons covering topics such as online enticement, sextortion, protecting yourself online, human trafficking and healthy relationships. All lessons include awareness and prevention materials, educational videos, and enrichment activities to test the student’s knowledge.
The Dibble Institute is a national nonprofit that aims to equip young people with skills to navigate intimate relationships and promote healthy relationship dynamics, both romantic and familial. Building a solid foundation to cultivate healthy relationships is their goal. These additional lesson plans can be incorporated into the curriculum as well.
The NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking is a nonprofit that coordinates statewide community efforts to end sex and labor trafficking in New Jersey. Their school awareness programs help students and educators in grades 6-12 learn and understand the risk factors and warning signs of human trafficking. These additional lesson plans can be incorporated into the curriculum as well.
